Buying FAQ

CS2VAULT finds CS2 items for you across several third-party marketplaces and buys them on your behalf. You pick the skin in one place, pay from your CS2VAULT balance, and the item is delivered straight to your Steam inventory.

1. Top up your CS2VAULT balance.
2. Pick an item and an offer from the market.
3. Enter the Steam Trade URL the item should go to and confirm. The price is taken from your balance.
4. We buy the item and the seller sends it to that Trade URL as a Steam trade offer.
5. Accept the trade offer in Steam.

Purchases are paid from your CS2VAULT balance, kept in USD. You can top up with crypto through our payment provider (USD 50 to 10,000 per top-up). Network fees are paid on top, so your balance is credited exactly the amount you chose.

Our service fee is already included in every price you see. The price confirmed at checkout is exactly what is taken from your balance. Prices may be shown in other currencies for convenience; you are always charged in USD.

Most orders arrive within minutes of the order being placed. Depending on the seller and Steam, some can take several hours. You can follow every order on My orders, and you are notified when it moves.

Yes. Delivery goes to the Trade URL you enter at checkout, which can belong to any Steam account. Checkout shows the account's name and avatar: check it before you confirm.

No. We never ask for your Steam password. We only need a Trade URL to deliver the item. Always enable Steam Guard 2FA.

No. CS2VAULT is an independent service. The marketplaces we buy from and Valve Corporation are separate companies; all trademarks belong to their owners.

Yes, free of charge, until the seller has sent the trade offer. After that the order can no longer be cancelled.

If an order is cancelled before delivery (by you while cancelling is still possible, or because the seller cannot deliver), the full amount goes back to your balance. If the trade offer is declined or not accepted in time, the order is cancelled and refunded minus a 2% fee. If the seller takes the item back after delivery, you are refunded. If you reverse the trade yourself, no refund is given.

You pay the price shown when you confirm. If the offer sold or its price changed in the meantime, checkout shows you the new price before anything is charged.
